Jeury Jimenez came to Workforce Tulsa to jumpstart his career as a CDL Truck Driver, something he always dreamed of doing. Jeury met with a Career Navigator that immediately recognized his ambition and commitment.
Having little work history, Jeury and his Career Navigator agreed he would benefit from Dynamic Futures, a series of work-readiness workshops designed to help Youth develop transferable skills for continued professional growth and success.
Upon completion of Dynamic Futures, Jeury went immediately into Occupational Skills Training at Arbuckle Truck Driving School. Jeury was diligent in attending every class and completed 160 hours of Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Training over the course of 1 month. After successfully completing all of the requirements for this training program, he took the assessment required to obtain his CDL-A and passed after only 1 attempt.
Jeury has accepted a position with McElroy Truck Lines. He can’t wait to begin his career driving the open road.
